Today is the first time Ayla has been able to go to Friday Flag ceremony. She had such a great time.
Kenzi loved showing her off to all of her friends & co-spiritleaders ...
during the ceremony, Ayla watched intently as the spiritleaders performed, she would dance & cheer with them, always clapping her hands when they finished, very cute indeed :)
when they did the flag salute, Kenzi showed her where to put her hand over her heart , she did it like she had been doing it forever :)
During today's ceremony, Mr. Dent did the which class is the noisiest for cheering on the school ... 1st graders won ...
he also did an apology session and gave an award to a young lady, she had studied really hard to be in the spelling bee & she didn't receive the paperwork in time to do it ... very disappointing for her as well as for the school ... but apology was accepted :)
everyone sang along to the school song as is done at every Friday Flag, "Let's hear it for the Warren Wolfs ... Hip-Hoo-Ray!!!
and we rounded out the ceremony with a picture of Kenzi & Ayla ... she was such a big girl & enjoyed it so much, I think we may have to do it again next week :)
