As we were driving past the firestation in Lake Elsinore today, we noticed that Santa was sitting out by the firetruck, so I ask Kenzi, "do you wanna stop & talk with Santa"?
Of course, being the little one that she is, "Sure" was her reply.
I guess we timed it just right, cause no one else was there ... they had already had the breakfast with Santa (which I didn't even know about ... how'd that happen ;) but nonetheless, we got to get in on taking pics with Santa ...
also when we finsihed up with that, she saw the firemen standing there talking & she asked me if she could talk with them ... "of course", was my reply.
as she approached them, she waited for them to finish talking & then extended her hand to one of them & very sincerely said, "thank you for always protecting us from the fires"... it melted my <3 as well as theirs ... she never ceases to amaze me ... she is such a little tenderheart :)
after that, one of the firemen ask if he could take a picture with her & she was elated to do so.
as we were ready to leave, she then wanted to take a pic with FireStation #10 mascot that is always on their front walkway ... the Grizzly bear :)
What a great moment in our day ... all because we happen to be at the right place at the right time :)
